Tali Shalom Ezer
Tali Shalom Ezer 〔(Tali Shalom Ezer on IMDB )〕 is an Israeli filmmaker, writer and director, best known for her debut feature, ''Princess'' (2014)〔Pablo Utin, (), ''Where Do the Children Play''], ''FIPRESCI: The International Federation of Film Critics'', 11/8/14〕 which premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival as part of the World Dramatic Competition.〔(Sundance Program )〕
==Early life==
Tali Shalom Ezer was born in Kfar Saba, Israel in 1978 to immigrant parents from Romania (mother) and Iraq (father). During her school years, Shalom Ezer became involved in a local theatre group which was a formative experience for her and helped to foster her love of theatre and for the craft of acting.
During her army service, Shalom Ezer trained and worked as a Psychological Evaluator, performing psychometric tests on young Israelis preparing to enter the army. Shalom Ezer’s ongoing interest in psychology was greatly influenced by her mother, who worked as a psychiatric nurse, focussing on the use of Psychodrama with her patients. All of her films have a psychological dimension and Shalom Ezer sees there to be a strong connection between Cinema and Psychology.
